The BlumSafe is not waterproof or fireproof; the BlumSafe Professional is available with a fireproof option and is waterproof.
It is worth noting that almost all consumer “fireproof” safes do not protect their contents to a low enough temperature to protect the internals of your watches in a prolonged blaze. For more information, see this blog piece we wrote on the subject. However, because the BlumSafe and BlumSafe Professional are wall safes, they both benefit from some level of fire protection provided by the sheetrock of the walls (and of course, you can add the fireproof option to the Professional). It's all a matter of levels of risk, but we beg all customers to properly insure their watches.
