The BlumSafe can be installed by a reasonably handy do-it-yourselfer or a carpenter, or handyman. We do not currently offer installation or suggested tradesmen for installation.
It is not difficult to install a BlumSafe once you have your location for the safe chosen, and you are confident it will fit, especially depth-wise, which requires 7.5” of cavity depth for the safe to be flush with the wall or cabinetry surface. See this link for various suggestions on installation in walls or cabinetry. These ideas show how an otherwise standard 2” x 4” stud construction wall can accommodate a flush fit a BlumSafe. If you can’t flush fit a BlumSafe, we offer a product, the Frame, that will permit mounting in a shallower wall.
